Old Trafford Stadium

The instantly recognisable frontage of this impressive building is the perfect example of synchronicity between man and machine, the machine in this case being the computer. Such an iconic building needs to call on the skills of experts such as the Technical & Sales Team at Norking to make it happen and turn the dream into reality. Architects AFL produced a ground-breaking design for the new East Stand featuring a staggering 1,000m sq glass facade. Curtain Walling was taken to its limits, challenges met and the bespoke massive double glazing units had to be imported from Europe, all generated and ordered by computer with efficiency and crucial accuracy.
