Gateway College

Environmentally friendly with a low carbon output, this new landmark building houses Leicester's Gateway College making it one of the top locations for study in the UK. A low energy, balanced temperature-controlled environmentis created throughout the building using 1300m2 of VELFAC windows complete with intelligent ventilation, integrated photovoltaic energy capture within thermally insulated Scheuco glazing, and an innovatively designed gull wing brise soleil.

Designed by Nightingale Associates, this purpose built £33m project demonstrates Norking's use of cologically efficient materials and systems.
