Paradise Street

This striking building with residential and retail use is in the heart of the city, part of the Liverpool regeneration project covering 42 acres. The main external design feature of the building is a series of vertical aluminium fins conceived by Glen Howells architects. This could not be created from existing profile sections so Norking commissioned a new profile to be manufactured. This has proved to be a great success both visually and technically. The building also has in excess of 800 Schueco Skyline S65 unitised curtain walling panels which were fabricated and glazed at our dedicated unitised factory. Norking are very proud to be associated with this building not only for our part in creating its striking look, but the site was given the royal seal of approval in May 2008 when it was visited by Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of York.
