This project is a 'replay' for the Norking team. Work on the iconic East Stand was completed in February 2000. The groundbreaking design from AFL Architects featured an amazing 1,000m sq glass facade. Now with architects The Miller Partnership and main contractors Laing O'Rourke, Norking is creating two directional facetted facades for two external corners at the stadium. The featured corners are situated where the East and West Stands both merge into the North Stand. Natural light and a stunning architectural focal point are the key elements here, with more than 2,500m sq of glazing more than double the amount in the East Stand facade.
